More than 700 students are presently studying in this institution in Upper Primary, High school and Higher Secondary sections. The school was adopted by the State Govt. because of low pass percentage in the SSLC examination 2006 and the school attained success in 2009 with 99% pass in SSLC due to the relentless co-operation of teachers, PTA, alumni and the Govt. authorities and earned the position of a model school for all others to follow. The school has achieved 100% victory last year in SSLC and is on the path of excellence
